Chloe Smith, LPC

Chloe Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, as well as a National Certified Counselor.  She has worked in the mental health field since 2009, and has had the privilege of providing a variety of services to adult clients including individual outpatient therapy, outpatient group therapy, counseling in a university setting, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization and case management.

Chloe’s desire is for her clients to experience personal, emotional, relational, and spiritual healing and well-being, so they can be equipped to live empowered lives of peace, joy, and thriving. In her time as a counselor, Chloe has worked with clients to find healing and growth in the areas of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem and identity issues, perfectionism, shame, guilt, boundaries, spiritual issues, abuse, neglect, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families, family of origin issues, relational issues, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment, and attachment issues.

Chloe has training and experience in multiple treatment modalities, and a typical session may include interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), assertiveness training, and mindfulness practices.

Chloe is happily married to Cody and enjoys any time she is able to spend connecting with loved ones and friends. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research & Counseling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.

Christian Counseling Services can provide the appropriate therapy compatible with your needs.  At CCS, therapy is a collaborative process where you and your therapist form a working relationship that is designed to facilitate change and growth during times of transitional, emotional or psychological distress.
