Larry completed a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairmont State University majoring in Sociology and Psychology.  He earned a Master of Science Degree from West Virginia University majoring in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Larry is a Licensed Professional Counselor {LPC} in Virginia and West Virginia.  He also holds national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor {CRC}.

Dr. Paul Marks is trained in counseling, theology and psychology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1994 followed by two Master degrees in Religion and Christian Theology in 1998. He also completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling in 2007.

Beth Ulrich joined the practice of Christian Counseling Services in October 2008 with over thirty years experience in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. She is currently the Program Manager for the Amherst and Appomattox Counseling Centers of the Central Virginia Community Services Board where she works with seriously and chronically mentally ill individuals.

Michelle Smith is licensed as a professional counselor in Virginia since 2015 and received her M.Ed. in Counselor Education at Lynchburg College in January 2013.  She is a registered play therapist and came to Christian Counseling Services with four years of experience working with at-risk children, adolescents, and families through a non-profit organization.

Mary Harris holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with a specialization in trauma and bereavement. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, and has worked in the mental health field since 2007. Rachel has extensive business and administrative experience, including human resources and medical.  Her loves are Thomas Road Baptist Church, family time, especially with her amazing parent’s, children’s ministry including teaching, photography and gardening.  Rachel’s lifetime verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Although we may not always know or understand God’s plan, if we will simply trust in Him, He will guide us to hope.
