Larry completed a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairmont State University majoring in Sociology and Psychology.  He earned a Master of Science Degree from West Virginia University majoring in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Larry is a Licensed Professional Counselor {LPC} in Virginia and West Virginia.  He also holds national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor {CRC}.

J. Paul Marks, D. Min., MA, LPC

Dr. Paul Marks is trained in counseling, theology and psychology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1994 followed by two Master degrees in Religion and Christian Theology in 1998. He also completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling in 2007.

Beth Ulrich joined the practice of Christian Counseling Services in October 2008 with over thirty years experience in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. She is currently the Program Manager for the Amherst and Appomattox Counseling Centers of the Central Virginia Community Services Board where she works with seriously and chronically mentally ill individuals.

Tammy has over 30 years of business and administrative experience working in the public and private sector. She has been part of and led small groups and ministries during this time. She has been married for 30 years and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. 



Tracie Tyson

Tracie comes to us from her hometown of Alexandria, Va with over 25 years of experience in Business Management and Executive Administration. She has worked with national corporations but prefers small business management with a “family atmosphere”. Tracie has made Lynchburg her home along with her three daughters.
